Peacefully at Tainui Rest Home, on Sunday, September 10th, 2017, in her 101st year. Dearly loved wife of Jim (deceased). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Barbara and Stan (deceased) Linton, (Te Awamutu), Bill and Clare (Brisbane), Gordon and Margaret (Tauranga), Pauline and Pat Lawrence (Rotorua), Kevin (deceased) and Heather (Auckland), Murray and Marie (New Plymouth), Kathy and Neville Hedley (North Shore). Loved Nana of her 30 grandchildren, and 54 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Thank you to Tainui Rest Home for Mum's care over the last 6 years, also to Dr Ian Smiley for Mum's care over the last 30 plus years.

In lieu of flowers, donations to 'New Plymouth Stroke and Support Trust' would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Vigil Prayers will be recited at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Powderham Street, New Plymouth, on Thursday 14th September, 2017, at 5.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Elsie at St Joseph's Catholic Church, on Friday, September 15th, 2017 at 10.30am, thereafter to Awanui Cemetery at 1.00pm.

A Geat lady, an example to everyone she met, I/we have fond memories of catching up with her @ Mum & Dad's in Matamata plus our 2012 visit with her in New Plymouth.
However although sadly missed she won't be forgotten with 90 Grandchildren in total! Amazing!
