Like others here I enjoyed Dudley's Social Studies/Geography lessons at IHS in 1957/8, learning about "marketing corn on the hoof" and so on. Nice to catch up with him last year. Sorry that you are gone, but the memories remain.

Mr Burrows taught English, maths, history, geography and coached various sports at Okato District High School while I was there from 1954 to 1956. I remember well studying Canada during the geography lessons little knowing that I would move there 8 years later and where I have been ever since. I spent quite some time chatting with him at the 50th anniversary of ODHS in the year 2000. R.I.P. Mr Burrows.

I was thinking of Dudley on Tuesday, wondering how he was. So sorry to hear he is no longer with us, but so pleased to have seen him at the reunion in 2017. I will never forget 7th form history and geography with him but more, was privileged to chat to him when I was researching the 50th anniversary history. He was passionately researching and writing himself, the history of the Masonic Lodge, I think.

Was one of the 1957 mob. From time to time tried to make his life a misery but he always remained the gentleman.

Mr Burrows, you started the same day in 1957 as all the excited kids at Inglewood's brand new High School. First day teacher and who would ever have guessed the length of your stay. Your contribution to the school academically and on the sports field will never be forgotten
It was so good to enjoy time with you at the 60th reunion in 2017.
RIP Dudley.
