To Renee, Michael, Tom and families. I havent spoken to Gerard for a good number of years but his death is certainly a shock and I wasn't aware of any health issues. I still remember as a kid staying at the farm kneeling at the chairs, praying the rosary and also our fellow man then your ole man getting out the boxing gloves and watch us beat the living daylights out of each other.....Ah what memories. Rest in peace Gerard.

"Ladies and Gentlemen and fellow Toastmasters past and present. Our esteemed Table Topics Master tonight has more wit than Weetbix, more power than potatoes, and more O'Hanlon than Hawera can handle. I present Mister Table Topics himself, Gerard O'Hanlon! Gerard O'Hanlon - Table Topics Master!"

You were a man of few yet powerful words. It was a honour to have learnt from you my friend.
