My Joe, my one and only Joe. My friend, the man I could always rely on. You did not deserve this. Nat and I will make sure we get answers. I am floundering but I know over time you will help me get stronger with the help and support of Nat, Rachel and pete. Also some of your wonderful close friends and family especially Tarana.
You taught me so much in the 31 years I was with you. You were a far better person than me. You always knew I loved you and I always knew you loved me. My life has changed for ever and you will always be forever in my heart. I miss you so much my Joe.

I love you dad. You were an extremely hard working man. A loving husband. A loving dad. A loving papa and a loving uncle, great uncle and a friend to many many people.

You worked hard to give us a good life. We love you very much. I will live on your legacy I promise. I will be hard working like you. I will finish my degree because you deserved to see me succeed in that.

We were so close dad. I will never love a man as much as i loved you. I will cherish those memories with the last two days we had together before your passing. I enjoyed looking after you as you have looked after me for 27 years.

I appreciated every single thing you did for me but I never really said it enough to you. You deserved the best in life because you worked your bottom off. But now you are gone and you didn't have that opportunity, I know your biggest want, is to see me succeed and be well and that's what you will see.

Everything I do will be in remembrance of my father. I do this for him.

I promised my father long ago I would look after mum and that's what I'll do. Ruby will be forever his pinksie boos.

I love you dad.

Your one and only. Natalie Rose ❤❤❤

It was very sad to hear of Joe's passing. When I think back to the times of FBT, Joe was always first out the gate and normally last back in. First to lend a hand on shovel and broom and always with a smile and chuckle going on. One of life's really good buggers and a top professional operator who just got on with it. Sadly I am unable to attend Joe's send off but I'm thinking of his whanau and friends at this time. RIP Joe....you bloody well earnt it mate.
