I couldn't breath properly that day
2 hours later got the phone call
Mum was in a bad way/I asked, how long have we got
Months,
Could be days
I put down the brush and said that's it
I'm out off here
Gathered up the fams
From the gc over np we bailed out
Stopped into the pie shop
Up to the hospital we go
Just seen shane the bro
He said
To late missed her by 2 minutes
I still wished I never stopped into the pie shop
Was hoping to let her hold my youngest girl summer for the 1st x who was 18 months old
Never happened
She past away peacefully

Mum was always an inspiration in my life
She not only was a mum/she was my best mate/a comedian/an amazing singer ,with here omny chord
She use to play so gracefully
And wat ever she done backed me up to the hills
She always had amazing morals that I use to try to stick to
But wherever u are mum the angels are watching over u now
I will never forget such an amazing mum
And now I can say u are with nana and Koko
Aunty Bev ,auncle Larry ,Aunty Tina and any other Aunty's and auncles I have left out
I no u are still around in spirit mum
U fly like an eagle
Above the heavans
As for us all our time will come
Every 1 has a number when our time is done on earth
And thanks for being apart off our life
I had read the signs on the way to taranaki
U were a fighter and u fought till the end
And my biggest dream in the world
I would have given
just to be there 2 min b4 u went

But mum, that was the lords choice
And if that's wat the lord chose
It's something I have to live with
But there is something I can always remember
And that's memories off u mum
And the lords not taking None off that off me
Love u mum
One off your sons

Hard to believe I've known you for 21 years.
Knocked on your door for the first time to visit your baby-boy. Invited me in for a few cold ones. Heard all the gossip, had a kanikani and a premo laugh. It was a good night... Then you sobered-up LOL!
We've had our good and bad times. We didn't have the greatest relationship but I like to think we parted as friends. I grew to admire your strength and inner-beauty. I grew to love and respect you.
Your cute giggle, cheeky smile and funky dance moves, I will miss the most.
Everything you've done for me and your moko, I will never forget.
I promise to watch-over and be there for your baby-boy and our son, i pray you do the same.
Your memory will live on and your legacy continues in your children and grandchildren.
Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your family. Thank you for being the greatest Nan you could be. Thank you for accepting me.
We will miss you dearly Maria. Till we meet again for another drink and dance, dream sweet and enjoy your journey. All our love, Arama and I xox
