Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Rhapsody Rest Home, New Plymouth, on 16th October 2017. Aged 52 years. Beloved daughter of Monica and Charles Rangi (deceased), loving sister to all her siblings. Beloved and cherished Mum of Harmony and Marcus, Wolfgang and Jess, adored Nana to Willo and Leo, The world's Greatest Aunty to all her nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family. A Service will be held at 49 Burns Street, Hawera, on Thursday 19th October, at 11.00am, followed by burial at Hawera Cemetery.

My dearest Gaylene you were One In A Million mate, I can still remember as if it was yesterday, your smile, that laughter and when you had to be serious you would, you weren't afraid of any man or woman, but... you had the biggest heart of gold ever, watching you with your kids was amazing, wish I was there, keep a spot for me mate and we'll catch up one day, Nog just told me some funny stories, and yeah that was so you, you punching him out in class lol
Ours friendship was there from the start, no matter where we were it was an awesome catch up...

Arohanui always my Aunty Gaelyn, my protector, my big sis and my guardian angel. You were my strength my hope and my faith. I am blessed to have been raised with and by you. The values and ethics you instilled in me I passed to my children - honesty hard work determination despite what the world throws at you to always push on and never give up.
