Bessie May (Betty):
(late of Katotauru Road, Okaiawa) passed away peacefully at Chalmers Rest Home, New Plymouth, on Thursday 11 January 2018, aged 92. Loved sister and sister-in-law of Pat Hackett, Mag and Paddy Tohill, Celia and Peter Sexton, Jim Hackett, Jack Hackett, Tom Hackett, and Alicia and Mick Brophy (all deceased). Loved Aunty Betty of all her Tohill, Sexton and Brophy nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the management and staff of Chalmers Rest Home for the understanding, love and care they showed to their special Aunt. May she now rest in peace. All messages to the Hackett Family c/- PO Box 75, Stratford 4352, or online at Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Powderham Street, New Plymouth, on Tuesday 16 January 2018 at 10.30am, followed by her burial at Okaiawa Cemetery at 1.30pm. Rosary will be prayed in the church on Monday evening at 5.30pm.
