Dearly loved husband of Colleen, loved and respected father and friend of Brooke and Chris, and Michelle and Daniel Cawley. Adoring and much loved Pop of Charlotte and Georgia. Treasured son of Marion and the late Dave. In preference to flowers donations to Taranaki Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Such sad news, my thoughts are with you Colleen, Brooke and Michelle. Graham was a pillar of the Fitzroy community and was taken too soon. I appreciated his guidance and mentoring whilst we worked together and enjoyed his friendship.

It is with great sadness that SLSNZ farewell Taranakis Surf Lifesaving Association former Chairman Graham Goldsworthy. Graham held many positions in Taranaki as Fitzroy SLSCs past President, Coach, mentor, supporter, lifeguard and sponsor. Graham was well regarded, liked and respected by many in the Taranaki region, the Central Region and New Zealand. Our sincere condolences to Colleen, Brooke, Michelle, family and whanau. Graham was a great lifeguard who did so much for so many. Graham (Goldie) has been a big part of the Surf Lifesaving movement and he will be sorely missed.

GOLDSWORTHY, Graham:
It is with great sadness that Fitzroy Surf Life Saving club notes the passing of Graham Goldsworthy. Graham has been a very valued and active member of the club for many, many years, contributing to all aspects of the club. As well as patrolling Fitzroy beach to ensure the safety of the public, he was a successful competitor and past president. Graham will be deeply missed, and the thoughts and best wishes of club members are with Graham’s family.
