Stu,was a special man and a key person in the team that brought containers to Port Taranaki, Long before the Liebherr cranes, he had demonstrated his special skills on the 5160 and the Lima. His patience in passing on his skills to new drivers and his commitment to perfection and his sense of humour made him a role model for others. I am sorry I missed his send off but he holds as special place in my memory

Didn't know you very long, but didn't take very long to know that you left a lasting impression on whomever you met. Enjoyed working with you at Port Taranaki and enjoyed every storey you had to tell. You will be missed and my thoughts and wishes are with your family and loved ones left behind.

Stu was one of the most kindest, sincerest and honest man we have known. Truly taken too soon. He was always willing to lend a hand when needed. You made a great couple and complimented each other. Stu had the patience of a saint - or was it he had just forgotten to put in his hearing aids!!
Anyway Stu will be missed.
