Peacefully passed away on Thursday 1 December 2016, surrounded by whanau. Beloved son of the late George Arthur Phelan and Florence Irene nee Read Phelan. Loved partner of Raewyn (Roimata) Samuels McDonald. Beloved Dad of Stephen and Kelly, Donna and Joe, Tania and Kevin, Tracey and Waaka, Kim and Dion, Clinton and Gladys. Step-dad to Yvette and Willie, Jennifer, Arana, Angus and Alfreda, Lionel and Ailini, and Simae-Llani. Treasured Granddad, Papa and Great Granddad, and loved by his long-time furry companion Pepe. Loved brother of the late Basil and Gloria (Reporoa), Les and Pam (Midhirst), the late Jack, and wife June, the late Sylvia Taylor (Waitara), Lenny and Patsy (Stratford), Ken and Chrissy (New Plymouth).Terry will lay in state at 5 Kennington Drive, Clendon Park, Manurewa, Auckland until 9am Sunday 4th December. Terry's funeral will be 11am Monday 5 December at Roma Rd Cemetery, Kaitaia.
