Truus HOLLEWAND Obituary

HOLLEWAND, Truus
(Geertruida Johanna Ida):
Bernard, Maria, John, Michael, Dominic and their families sincerely thank everyone for their support during the loss of a much-loved mum, mother-in-law and Oma. To those of you who attended the funeral and/or rosary prayers, the evening before, thank you so much. Your prayerful support means everything to us. We are truly grateful for all the visits, phone calls, flowers, emails, cards and wonderful meals and baking. Your generous monetary donations have been gratefully received by Hospice Taranaki. We deeply appreciate the support from so many of Mum's friends and acquaintances as well as our own colleagues and friends. A special thanks to Father Tom for guiding and leading us in the last part of Mum's journey and also to Fathers Fergus Reeve and Craig Butler for offering Mass with Father Tom. A big thank you to Casey from Eagars for her care, support and help during this difficult time. Thank you to Margaret Hurley for her wonderful playing of the organ during the funeral service. We are very grateful to the ED Team, Ward 2a staff and Medical Outpatients staff at Taranaki Base who took care of Mum over recent months during her admissions and many transfusions. Also thanks to the staff at both the Jean Sandel Hospital and Hospice Taranaki for their care of Mum in her last days. To everyone, your thoughtfulness and support gave us much comfort. If we have missed anyone please accept this as a personal thank you and acknowledgement of gratitude on behalf of the Hollewand and McCracken families. To all, our deepest thanks for your condolences and support.
