While managing the Hawera Aquatic Centre, Adrian also played a significant role as an executive member of the New Zealand Association of Swimming Pool Managers for a number of years. He contributed to the development of professional practices and qualifications for the industry, prior to NZASPM joining with other professional recreation associations to become, in 1991, New Zealand Recreation Association. He made a positive contribution to the Aquatic Recreation Industry for many years. Dave Lee

Sorry to hear of Adrian's passing, He and Raewyn were our Green Lane' neighbours and our boys loved raiding their plum tree and gathering the fallen plums when they were away. Love to Raewyn and the family at this sad time.
