Deepest condolences to the Lord family. We had great fun with Aileen after my father Pat Powell drafted her into the Powell family singing group. Aileen was always the best prepared of us and her sense of fun and sharp wit made practices and performances alike times to look forward to. Irish music in particular was part of her being. It was always a joy to see Aileen and Ian call in over the years.

Carol Duncan - My dear sister-in-law Aileen....I was delighted as a 15 year old when Ian first brought you to our Normanby home, in your jade green and silver dancing dress, impossibly glamorous: tho of course you knew all about milking cows and driving tractors (and later a school bus!) Gerald and I had such fun with Ian and Aileen, timesharing in Yorkshire and Scotland in 1996. A wonderful mother, and so kind and loving also to her nieces and nephews. from Carol Duncan, Catherine, John and Alla, James and Marika.

Dear Caz, Paul and family, Sorry to hear your dear mum has passed away. She was very trendy and loved her fashion, many items she bought from CC Ward and was a lovely customer to help. She just loved you taking her Caz, it gave her so much pleasure, the lovely drives in the sun, lunch or dinner, visiting your friends and sharing stories with us, and all the other special times you shared.
