Alan HORNER Obituary

HORNER, Alan Douglas Q.S.M. No 629142 W/O 2. Sgt Major NZ Scots Black Watch 29 Bn, 27 Bn. - On 22nd April 2014 at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, aged 92 years. Much loved husband of 65 years of Fran, loving father of Ken, and Margot and father-in-law of Jennifer. Also, loved grandfather of Louise, Tom, Aaron, Bridget and Alana and six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Alan's life will be held at St Mary's Anglican Church, Princes Street, Hawera on Tuesday, 29th April 2014 at 1.00pm. Interment later at the Hawera cemetery. Instead of flowers Alan and Fran have requested donations may be made to Ozanam House Trust, PO Box 5472, Terrace End, Palmerston North 4441 www.ozanamhouse.org.nz in appreciation of the care he received there.
