NORTON, Albert Victor 'Vic':
Veteran Royal Navy WW2. Dedicated Pakeke Lions Member. Passed away peacefully at Jean Sandel, on Monday 19th December 2016, aged 89 years. Dearly loved and devoted husband for 63 years of the late Eleanor (Ellen). Much loved father and father-in-law of David and Sandra (Inglewood), Julia and Colin, and Jeffrey and Melissa (all of Australia), and the late Michael. Dearly loved grandfather and great-grandfather to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. All messages may be sent to 'The Norton Family', 282 Rimutauteka Road, R.D.8, Inglewood 4388. In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer's Taranaki would be greatly appreciated and may be left in the Chapel foyer. A service for Vic will be held at The Chapel of W. Abraham, 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth on Friday 23rd December 2016, at 2:00pm, followed by a private cremation.

Vic was a lovely person. He would light up my day with his love of singing, playing the piano and sharing of his life events. I loved how he called me by name and I loved his smile. I treat all the residents the same but some just get in your heart more than others and become very special, Vic was one of those. Going to miss my Vic xx
