Alexander THOMSON Obituary
Alexander George (Alex):
Peacefully but unexpectedly on Saturday, 26 August 2017, in his 89th year. Dearly loved husband of the late June. Much loved and respected father and father-in-law of Catherine Dodd (New Plymouth), Allan & Sue (New Plymouth), Wendy & Steve Wackrow (Hamilton), and Nicola & Peter Harrison (Hawera). Adored Pop of Rebekah; Melissa, Brad, Kane; Scott, Kate; Jacinta and Jade. Special Pop of his 12 great-grandchildren. Alex will be at 9 Douglas Street, Hawera, until Wednesday, all welcome. All messages to the Thomson Family, 9 Douglas Street, Hawera 4610. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Alex's life to be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Victoria Street, Hawera, on Wednesday, 30 August 2017, at 1.30pm. After which he will be laid to rest with June in Hawera Cemetery.

Hi Catherine, very sad to read Dad/ Alex had passed on, he was the Epitome of a Gentleman, fond memories of driving back to Hawera after a furniture shift with Fish & Chips & "fizzy drink"
