Alan said he was the best looking man in the lounge at Trinity Home and Hospital.
A true gentleman always helping out gathering up the afternoon cups to return to the trolly- complete with a big smile on his face.
Rest well Alan.

I worked with "AJ" at NGC Kapuni in the 1970s. He was a decent guy. Sorry to see that he has passed. Condolences to his family.

Dad, you will always be in my heart, you were there for me when I went through my cancer,
My gardens always look great after you had been in them.
You and Mum coming down to the Waverley country singing days.
Now you are with Mum, now you both be together forever.
Love you both always.

My Deepest sympathy to all of Allans family.Allan was a great singer always popular at Country Music nights around Taranaki along with his late wife Margaret ,with solos and duets together, singing and playing his guitar . He could still remember all the words to his songs ,even though other memories sometimes failed him ,and earlier this year he was at a Hawera Club singing a number of his songs and not missing a word or tune.He Always had a cherry smile for everyone, he was much loved by many people .I personally will miss visiting him at Trinity Resthome .May God Bless and give you all comfort at this sad time ,Lindsay Maindonald, Eltham
