Yesterday

Condolences to all of the family. I have really fond memories of both your father and mother, from being one of their marching "Chicks". They were always positive, encouraging and kind. As an adult, I now appreciate the enormous number of hours they dedicated to our team. Missed but not forgotten.

Such a lovely man - I am one of the volunteer gardeners at Te Henui Cemetery and our team met Alan many many times when he came to tend Melva's grave. He was so devoted to her. He spoke so happily and proudly about their flower garden and showed us the photo album of them. He gave us zinnia seeds to use at the cemetery and over the last summer we had an incredibly good show of them. Thanks Alan. They will be planted by us every year in your memory.
