Amelia Phylis (Millie):
Passed away peacefully at Chalmers on Friday, July 27, 2018. Aged 91. Dearly loved wife of the late Adair (Bill). Adored mother of Carol Ryan, Maureen Raumati (deceased), Kathy Boxer, Christine Tyler, Graham Fiddis, Linda Winter and their partners. Cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of many. Loved twin sister of Joan James. Millie will be laying at rest until Tuesday at 36A Beaumont Crescent, New Plymouth, for those who wish to say goodbye. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Millie's life to be held at Taranaki Crematorium, on Tuesday 31 July 2018, commencing at 1.00pm.

My deepest sympathies to all of Amelias (Millie) family and friends. I cared for your mum at Chalmers rest home. She was an amazing lady. Her smile would just melt our hearts. She was funny, always surprising us with her great sense of humor. She was very strong and liked to stick to her routine even if unwell. Dragging us down the passage way, walking as fast as she could to get to her friends in the lounge. We all loved her and miss here deeply. Thank you for allowing us to love and care for a beautiful mum, nana, friend. Robyn J.

I met lovely Millie at Chalmers where I saw her daily while visiting my mother. She was very friendly to mum who has dementia and she had a Bful smile everyday and best of all a fantastic sense of humour. She will be sadly missed. Sorry for your loss of a lovely lady. Jan Rigden
