Ann KOOREY Obituary

Passed peacefully on Thursday, 4th September 2025, aged 89 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Larry. Adored Mum of Erin and Brendon, Therese and Barry, Helen, Philippa, Anna and Peter, Christopher, Beth and Micheal, Trish and Steve. Most special Grandma to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family wish to acknowledge the wonderful care Liz received from the staff at Molly Ryan. In lieu of flowers, it would be greatly appreciated that donations be made to the Society of St Vincent de Paul. Messages may be left online at wabraham.co.nz/notices or posted to 'The Koorey Family', c/- PO Box 4016, New Plymouth 4340. A Requiem Mass for Liz will be held in St Joseph's Catholic Church, Powderham Street, New Plymouth, on Monday, 8 September 2025 at 11.00am. Rosary will be recited at the Church on Sunday 7th September 2025 at 4.00pm.

We are saddened to hear of Liz's death and comforted to know she is at eternal peace with her Loving God. Our condolences and prayers for all the whanau. She was a treasured and humble member of our group who provided creative eats at our gatherings, shared from her bounteous garden and lived a faith-filled, generous life of service.
