Anne NICHOLLS Obituary
Passed away peacefully after a battle with cancer at Tainui Rest Home, New Plymouth, on Sunday 13th December 2020, surrounded by her family, aged 87 years. Formerly from Kaponga. Loved wife of Toby for 68 years. Loved mother of Ron, Geoff and Donna, Ian, Kay and Felix, Alec, and Dave and Sonya. Cherished nana to 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Thanks to Tainui Rest Home staff for looking after mum so well, lots of love from the Nicholls family. A service to celebrate the life of Anne will be held on Thursday 17th December 2020 at the Kaponga War Memorial Hall, Kaponga, commencing at 1pm, followed by a committal at the Kaponga cemetery.

Sending my love to all the Nicholls family. Finding Anne and Toby some years ago and realising she was related to me through my mum, set our path.
I loved that Anne had a stubborn streak that resembled her beliefs. While she always had a laugh and a puzzle to complete. Her main love was to be so proud of her dearly loved children and grandchildren.
To the family of Anne please accept my condolences. Xx

NICHOLLS, Anne:
Visitors were always welcomed with a smile and a shared laugh was enjoyed. An electric wheelchair provided the freedom Anne craved and Toby’s unfailing support allowed Anne to do it her way. Tainui Village residents and staff extend their sympathy to Toby and family.
