Dear Therese. I was unable to be present at the gathering last week. My condolences and loving prayers as you deal with this huge parting. Entering 'widowhood' after a cherished partnership is a huge challenge, the hardest thing.
May you find shared comfort in the love of offspring, wider whanau and friends. God loves you. Rest in Peace Tony.

Deepest sympathy to you and your family, Therese. He was a lovely man and so kind to my Peter during his last years. RIP Tony.

The Taranaki Branch of the New Zealand Dental Association regretfully acknowledge the passing of a mighty Tōtara. Tony Waghorn was a great colleague, teacher and mentor to many dentists and dental therapists and a strong advocate for public access to dentistry especially within Taranaki. The Hospital dental department still reflects his dedicated input to its development. He was also recognised by our national body for his considerable efforts in dentistry making him A Fellow of the New Zealand Dental Association. We also recognise the warmth and support that Therese has provided to Tony over their many years together.

Dear Therese and family, so sorry to learn of Tony's passing . A true gentleman with a great sense of humour who we are privileged to have known. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Rest in Peace Tony. Colin & Margaret Comber

My Sister Rosemary and then I used to babysit Tony's young kids years and years ago. He was a good friend to our family and I really enjoyed those occasions. Will be missed.
