We only learned of our dear friend Ash's passing 48-hours ago, on the eve of his favourite Americarna event. So very sad to learn of his sudden decline over recent weeks.

Ash was an extraordinarily generous and friendly "bloke's bloke" who loved his family, friends, and American car collection with much fondness. My god, he will be missed!

Ash & Janice were able to join us for a short holiday in Taupo last year that they both thoroughly enjoyed. Our annual pilgrimage to join them in Taranaki each year will be very much missed, and our condolences go out to Ash's large family, friends, and relatives.

You've earned the rest now Ash ... god bless you.
