Worked alongside Athol back in the 70s at R. J. Burkitt Ltd - great memories.
Encouraged my interest in Caterpillar equipment and was always ready with helpful advice. RIP Athol.

We loved seeing Athol when visiting Chalmers to see our mother. When he saw our little grandson, his eyes lit up and he would mumble a few words to him. It was sad to see his decline over the last 2 years, he deserves a well earnt rest now. RIP Athol. The van Hattum family.
