At peace with his God – 24 September 2023, Oakland Ultimate Care, Tauranga. Aged 99 years. Beloved husband and companion, of Ngaire Esma Benny (nee' Bycroft). Partners for 69 years. Loyal, loving and treasured Father to: Graeme & Trina, Lynette & John; Grandfather to Julia, Cynthia & Todd, Sara & Brendan, and Gareth; Great-Grandfather to Ryker & Ronin, Hazel & Jasper. Step Grandpa to Emma & Laura. Respected & devoted brother to the late Ralph, & late Zeala, and uncle to their families; and brother-in-law to Doreen & Rex, Gil & Beth, and uncle to their families. Trusted, friendly and lovely man to his many friends. A most Christian & principled gentleman, with a lifelong dedication to his Methodist faith and church. Condolences & shared memories are welcome.
