We were heartbroken to lose our nephew and cousin Jim, but the loss of his son Atholl is beyond comprehension. Our thoughts are with Janice,Alyth,Amy Fynn and Evie.We send our condolences knowing that the love you had for Atholl will see you through.

It is 11.00 am on Monday 8 September and I am quietly thinking of you Fynn, Evie and the rest of the family as you farewell Atholl. May he rest in peace and may you be comforted in the knowledge that he was loved, admired and highly respected by so many.
Fynn and Evie may grow up without knowing their Dad, but your own strength and the goodness of Atholl that they will inherit, will ensure that he lives on in them.

Atholl was my best mate for pretty much 15 years, He really did have a heart of gold and was a true loyal friend. Ath, there are too many memories to list but i'll always treasure our trips to Samye Ling, the curling tournament in Holland and the couple of weeks I ruined for you and Amy in Hawera! Rest easy on that cloud mate, keep an eye out for Vegeta :) you'll be sorely missed by many, keep a space free for a friend when the time comes.

I met Atholl through volunteering at the spca and he was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He always had a hello or a wave from his police car. Deepest condolences to all his family and friends at such a very tragic time. The good should never die young

Words will never be able to express the sadness that I feel for the loss of a wonderful caring person. He did so much at the S.P.C.A. and he really loved the cats so much I'm sure he would have taken all of them home if he could.
