We are sorry to hear of your mother's passing. We have fond memories of her at family and friend gatherings at Tainui Street. Her quiet manner and cheeky smile. Our deepest sympathies and may she rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Aunty Avis. I am sure you will all miss her terribly and have many great memories of a loving Mother, Grandmother and great Grandmother. Remember well the days at Vogel Street when we were all kids. What a full and long life she lived. Our thoughts are very much with you all. Deepest sympathy

Avis was warm, funny and a great euchre player. Enjoyed my years of playing euchre with her. Always happy and smiling. Well miss you very much Avis.

A lovely lady now at rest. Was such a pleasure when we visited Avis, with her Hello magazines she loved to browse. She was held in very high esteem with both of us. Such a kind soul . May you always rest in peace Avis
