POWELL, Barbara Judith
(Jude) (nee Valintine):
Passed away peacefully on Friday 6th May 2022, aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of late David. Loved younger sister of the late Bill, Pat and Dick and treasured aunt of the Valintine family. Jude was a passionate advocate and lover of all animals. All messages to the Valintine family, c/- PO Box 4016, New Plymouth, or online at wabraham.co.nz/tributes. In accordance with Jude's wishes a private cremation has been held, however a celebration of Jude's life will take place at a later date.

Jude was a very special person in out lives. On behalf of my siblings Alison, Guy and Jeff Vickers, we would not be where we are today without Jude. As children we used to love to visit David and Jude, running around their back garden and patting their dog. A beautiful lady at rest.

Happy memories of working with Judy at the Child Welfare Division of the Education Dept. In the 60's and 70's.
She was always happy and caring and ready to offer advice to help those in her care.
