RODGERS, Barbara (nee Fletcher). - Of Abbeyfield, Roslyn House Palmerston North, and Feilding. Promoted to Glory from Palmerston North Hospital on Wednesday April 23rd 2014, in her 66th year. Wife of Dennis and much loved and respected mother of Craig and Mary (Auckland), Shane and Simone (Mangakino), Paul and Paula (Wanganui). Nana Barbara to Branden, Lucas and Mason, Teagan and Harnna, Hayley and Brad, Matt and Grace. Special other daughter of Rex (deceased) and Verla Ellery. Faithful and devoted extra mum to Debbi Gulbransen (Papakura) and Nana Barbara to Joshua Quintrell (Palmerston North), Emerald and Mat (Papakura), Erica (Papakura) and Great Nana to Luka. Sister in law to Nancy and Ron Rolfe (Rotorua), John Ruddell (Auckland), David James (Tauranga). Many thanks to the staff of Ward 29, Palmerston North Hospital and Abbeyfield's staff and residents for their caring love and support.
Join the family on Monday, 28th April 2014 at 1pm, at the Feilding Salvation Army, 124 Manchester Street, Feilding, for a time of thanksgiving and celebration of Barbara's life. In lieu of flowers donations to the Feilding Salvation Army Missionary Projects, 124 Manchester Street, Feilding, would be appreciated or may be left in the Citadel foyer.
