So sorry to hear about your Mum. My parents, Stan and Shirl Elgar, were neighbour's on the Rama Road many years ago and been family friends ever since. What a lovely happy woman your Mum was and always ready with a joke and a jolly good laugh. Thinking of you all. Gail and Paul Switzer (nee Elgar).

Dear Rogers Family my deepest sympathy to you all. I got to know Barbara through her membership with Hawera Rural Women and South Taranaki Provincial Rural Women NZ. She was a very loyal friend and a very valued member of our Rural Women and will be greatly missed by us all.

Dear Rogers Family, "Mrs Rogers" our childhood neighbour on Rama Rd and lifelong friend of mum and dad. A great talker, a very hard worker and the lady with a heart of gold and great laugh who was always on hand to lend a hand, including provision of equipment to extract pod out of child nasal cavities. Barbara was a real gem volunteering at the Lysaght Watt Art Gallery and helping at art exhibitions in our woolshed.Her ability to chat to anyone and make us laugh made for an enjoyable visit.

Condolences to the Roger's family. mrs Rogers as i always called her, was the most amazing lady and was thought of as my second mum. i will miss my birthday cards or phone calls i have received from her, most of my life. she was always there when i needed her.
