Barry FABISH Obituary
Passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday 2nd April 2021, aged 85. Loving husband of Dorothy (Dot) (nee Spurdle), loved father and father-in-law of Dave and Denise, Ray and Fiona, Steve and Meg, Leanne, Murray and Nic. Adored, loved and proud grandad and great-grandad of many. Respected brother and brother-in-law of John and Colleen (deceased) Meikle, Jack and Valda, and Rod and Evelyn. Respected brother-in-law of Colin (deceased) and Pat, Leonie and Tom, Ian and Wendy, and uncle to their families. A private Requiem Mass was celebrated at New Plymouth's St Joseph's Catholic Church on Tuesday 6 April 2021. A separate celebration of Barry's life will be held on Saturday 10th April 2021. Our heartfelt condolences on Barry's passing. He was a fabulous man and a top notch neighbour for about 22 years, always helpful, always knowledgeable and with a smile on his face and banter at the ready. May he now rest in peace.
