Betty ELVINES Obituary

8/3/1925 – 17/7/2023 Died peacefully at Ranfurly Manor, Feilding, in her 99th year. Dearly beloved wife of Lloyd (dec). Loved mother and grandmother of Sue and Murray (dec) Carr, Chris, Jacqui and Arturo, Megan and Brian, Tanya and Frank; Jill; Alayne and Colin Bliss, Bryan and Cath, Sian and Shaun, Jo and Dan, Hannah and Hautahi; Mark and Colleen, Jason and Melissa and Deanna; Robyn and Dave Bigham, Katie and James. Great grandmother of 17. A heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Ranfurly Manor for their care of Betty. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Haemophilia Foundation NZ, P O Box 24014, Wellington 6142. A service for Betty will be held at The Feilding Funeral Chapel, 282 Kimbolton Road, Feilding, on Tuesday 25th July 2023 at 11.00am.

Betty is very much part of my "Stanway" memories. She was a quietly determined and gentle lady with such a lovely smile.

To all the Elvines whanau. We were very saddened to hear that you have lost your lovely mother and grandmother. Betty was always such a gracious lady who loved her family dearly. we will also remember how she loved the great outdoors, doing many of the big NZ tramps and her time spent at the beach. She lived life to the fullest. What a great age! Take care.
