Beverley SNELL Obituary
Beverley Joan (nee Avery):
Passed away peacefully with Ian, Maria and Sam by her side at Bob Owens Special Care Unit, Tauranga, on Saturday 13 January. Aged 82 years. Beloved wife of Ian for 56 years. Loving mother to Juanita, Maria and Adam. Cherished mother-in-law to Sam and Gavin. Wonderful grandmother to Rowan, Shane, Tim, Jack, Eli, Amy, Loren and Stevie. Treasured sister to Dawn, Basil and Nancy. Dear great-grandmother to her many great-grandchildren and loved aunty to her nieces and nephews. Sadly missed by all who knew her. Thank you to all staff at Bob Owens Special Care Unit for such wonderful loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of NZ, or may left at the service. A service to celebrate Beverley's life will be held at St Chads Church, Omata Road, New Plymouth, on Thursday 18 January, at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation.

Dear Maria. Really sorry to hear of the passing of your dear mother. My memory is of her working at outpatients and always with a smile, she was always so happy to see you when we would pop in.

Much loved sister-in-law of Monica (deceased), Basil and Jackie (Australia). Loved aunty of Carolyn (New Zealand), Julie, David and Jane (Australia) and great-aunty of Samantha and Matthew, Daniel and Ashley. She had a heart of gold, we love her dearly.

Peacefully in Tauranga, on Saturday 13 January. Loved wife of Ian and dearly loved mother of Maria, Juanita and daughter-in-law Sam. Granny of Rowan, Shane, Jack, Tim, Eli and granddaughter-in-law Loren, great grandmother to her 7 great-grandchildren. A life dedicated to nursing and caring for others, she was respected by all medical staff. A life filled with much happiness and travel with her beloved husband to many parts of the world.
