Dear Carrie and family, I was sad I was unable to come and celebrate your amazing dad. I have fond memories of Bill while working in the Baring Terrace church office on a Monday morning and debating scripture with him. I also was with him and your mum as he led my dad through the sinners prayer. A very special amazing man who I am sure will now be dancing in heaven. Cherish your memories.

Bill had a special relationship with our Dad Harold, at Manaia ... he had a strong memory for detail and enjoyed sharing the nephew/uncle experiences of farming, horse riding and motorbikes.
Bill was often present in the public areas of Jean Sandel, well known and sociable.
Gladys too, the famous pianist with talent I envied.
My sympathy to family members.
Kind Regards
Rosalind Snowdon

Memories are special, and the recollections of times from years past blend the good ones with the difficult ones. I shall treasure mine, as I know you all will treasure yours too. Sunday visits- the little treefern Bill gave me to grow at our Kaponga home- the pianola playing in the front room.. the piece of no.8 wire he bent into its special shape a quiet, solid, caring man. My condolences to you all family- may Bill now rest in peace.
