CALKIN, Brian Leo:
Of Levin, peacefully at Star 4, Levin, on Tuesday 29 August, 2017; aged 79. Loved husband and best mate of Edith. Loved father of Lee, Paul, Gregg, and loving grandfather of Ryan, Hayley and her three great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by his brothers Ian, Bud, Peter and sisters Elizabeth, Judith, and Margaret. The families of Sharples, Peebles and Duncan-Amohau dearly loved him along with their great-grandchildren Liam and Lilly. We give thanks to the wonderful staff at Star 4 for their care of Brian. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Requiem Mass to Celebrate Brian's life will be held at St Joseph's Catholic Church, Weraroa Rd, Levin, on Saturday 2 September, at 11.00am, followed by private cremation.
