To Jan and family
Brian was a good man. Loyal and honest and hard working, I had the pleasure of working with Brian for more than 30 years. We never had an argument, even through all the turbulent ups and downs of life and business. Brian just got on and did what was asked of him. He contributed greatly to our business and to the fibreglass industry in New Zealand, right to the end of his working life when he was training people new to our industry. He was a 'Legend' at Armatec Environmental Ltd. He has certainly left his mark on us all and we are the better for it.

Brian - I'm sorry I cannot be there to say goodbye in person. Remembering you I realise there is not a time I can recall that you have not been part of our work family. From when I was a child you were there, and stayed there - right through until you couldn't anymore. Your commitment to us all was unending & your dedication to see our team get their qualifications is something we will never forget. With your positive outlook and jokes at the ready, you have inspired many. Much love. Catherine

Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Brian. We had many great times together playing in the band with Keith Bloor, Rex Bloor, and later years Trevor Hay. I'll always re\member Brian"s chuckling laugh. Never had a cross word and that is quite unique for band members. I have a great photo of Brian with the other band members taken at the Normanby Town Hall some years ago.

Uncle Brian, I have only met you a few times and had brief conversations, but that doesn't diminish my respect and love for you.

Talking to you has shown me that you have lived a life worth living. You had interesting, loved ones and intelligent and successful children, and you flew to heaven in your old age after a rich and fulfilling life.
In heaven, you, too, must be living in love.

Janet, I also hope you keep your sense of humour and live life to the fullest. Brian will be happy to see that.
