Brigid, no matter how busy, found time to celebrate my Master's with me!!

I have , over one year later, only just heard that Brigid has passed. I was so devastated to hear the news. I met Brigid when she taught at Berhampore School and soon learnt how deeply she felt about education, how wonderful she was with the kids, and how beautifully her smile and kindness could light up a room. My deepest condolences to those left behind.... It sure seems like she went way too soon and that we've lost out. The last time I saw her was at a big party she had at Buckley Road. The house was filled with people who loved her and the night was magical. May she be with me the next time I party. Sincerest condolences. I'm gonna miss knowing you are around so, so much. Ange

My sincerest condolences to Mandy and all of Brigids family.
I went to boarding school with Brigid and Mandy and although I haven't kept up over the years it's not hard to conjure up a picture of Brigid. Always laughing with her wicked sense of humour.
A legend on the hockey field!!
I am sure she will be sorely missed.

To the family of Brigid Conaglen, I wish to pass on my condolences , I went to secondary school at Sacred Heart with Bridget, and we played hockey together with her she was a fine sports person and good scholar, plus a great friend to me at boarding school, my only regret is that we lost touch over the years, rest in peace my friend Katherine Britten-Wood.

Dear Conaglen family, my son and I were very sad to hear of Brigids passing. We recently worked out we had been neighbours for over 16 years. I have enjoyed convivial catch-ups and have fond memories. Our thoughts are with you at this time. Jill Stewart and Tom

Brigid and I used to meet at gatherings and hidey-hole away into a corner and talk about education. She was dedicated to her job and to her beliefs in the learning process and the best way to teach. I loved her.

Sincere sympathy to the Conaglan family, and to all who loved Bridgid. It's many years since we attended SHGC together, just 11 of us third form boarders who went through as a cohort and as a family through all the fun and dramas of boarding school life. Fond memories of high jinx and laughs with Brigid and Mandy. Thinking of you all at this sad time.

Really saddened to hear this news I remember Brigid as a committed and determined person and as an inspiring example on the hockey field in my early days at Massey University. Was delighted to catch up with her later in life in and educational context. Arohanui to family and friends.

Sincere sorrow to Bridget's whanau in the loss of your loved one.
I haven't seen Bridget over the last few years, but she was a well respected and important part of the NZEI Wellington Area Council for a long period of time that fought for fair terms & conditions for all in education. She stood for fairness & equality for all.
I have fond memories of all of our long battles to see these values come to fruition. Bridget we will continue to fight the good fight.
Arohanui - continue too fly.
