I am so sorry to hear about Bruce passing. Unfortunately due to health circumstances I could not make it to the service. I have known Bruce since the early b1960's through work and the dog obedience club and church. I enjoyed his company and will always remember him for his cheeky sense of humour. Rest in Peace Bruce.

I am thinking of your family at this sad time as I remember Your Dad Helen .
I first met him about 40yrs ago when you and I first became friends when Him and Noeline lived at the farm .
He certainly was a unique strong character, full of life and living to a ripe old age.
He will be pain free at ease now.
Kind blessings to you all as you celebrate his life and lay him to rest today .

Sorry for your loss..I met Bruce as a Carer with HCNZ..when I first started 2 yrs ago.We had great chats about naval things(both my brothers RNZN)..And Race horses ..my Uncle had them and his won the Aondale Cup back in the day .
Sometimes grumpy ..allowed ..but a man of so many stories. We had quite a few laughs .
Peacefully at rest...God Bless .

Debbie, John, Daniel & Stephen. You have lost a dad and grandad. But he must have lived a great life to 93 years of age. Support each other and focus on the great memories. Love to you all, Yvonne King & Adrian McLeod.

Hi Grandad, I´m so glad i got to see you last week. I had a whole day planned for my trip back at Christmas but it just wasn´t on the cards. It was great seeing all the family and sharing memories of the farm, our trip to Australia with Daniel and our scooter ride to Wai-iti when i first got my drivers licence. You told stories of your wrestling days and how you wanted to build a container Bach like the ones they had. I love you Grandad, and i know you loved me too.
All my love to my Aunties, cousins, family and everyone else he left behind.
Rest in love Grandad xxx

Grandad, I have so many memories, plenty from the farm and some more recent, you've always been quite the character with a can do attitude.
Last week, while we took care of you as a family and spent time with you at home, it was easy to see the can do attitude was instilled in us all.
You did it your way.
Rest in peace Grandad

I was introduced to Bruce around a few years ago by my Nana Helen and I grew to treasure every moment I had with Bruce him being my great grandad and I saw him not long before he died. I send my condolences to everyone that knew Bruce. Im thinking of you and you will be deeply missed by me and everyone else who knew you from Bruce's great granddaughter Savannah.
