So devastating to learn of this. It's been many years but Cam was always one of the best, a grinning jewel in Taranaki's crown. Proper music lover. Thoughts and love to whanau.

Hey Cam,

Today was special. You were the center of attention. :)
Once again you made everyone feel special. The way you'd always walk up, a big handshake and a hello with a wisecrack line or a wave of acknowledgement from across the room.
I wouldn't call it a joyful time but it certainly was a "Cam Time".
The music rocked and your family nailed it.

Who´s going to call me Uncle Fester now.? Who´s going to always say `Hey mate ...´, always have a handshake and a big smile, big personality, dad joke or a cheeky yarn. You were large with life mate. Gone too soon. I´m in shock. You were such a GC. Rest In Peace Cam and watch down on us all until we all meet again Uncle Fester lol

Myself and Stefan sat with you last Friday night at the hospital, with so much love in the room, we couldn´t believe this was real, and this must be a mistake as you are way too young to go so soon, we realise how short life can be.
The hours/days/nights you were in our home enjoying stories and so many laughs, and with you doing most of the talking (haha)... you will truly be missed because you were family to us, and knowing you for over 20 Years, just a true honour to have enjoyed so many happy times.
Here is the picture you did for me 12 Years ago one night after I told you my Nacho story, this picture is still on the photo wall, I will treasure this, and smile knowing the funny story I told you. The love you have for your girls, is truly beautiful and we know that you will be looking down on all of your Family & Friends knowing how much you were loved and you will be missed, fly high Camo, until we meet again Camo, love you from (Stefan) Mr Wong & (Susan) Nacho, Jessa, Peanut, China xxxx

We are all shocked and devastated beyond words that our larger than life mate has gone. Your have always been a huge personality and just a crack-up, generous, kind friend to us and our team. We cannot believe we won't have banter and laughs again - you were an absolute treasure and we send our aroha and strength to your family at this truly tragic time. We hope your girls know how loved they were - you were forever telling us how much you loved them We will miss ya mate - so, so much.

Cam, we are all going to miss you coming in to have a weekly chat. Always a story to tell, a lot of Dad jokes and a bike to show us. Thinking of your family and friends at this very sad time. RIP Cam, you were a true gentleman

Much love and strength to Cam's family. He was such a great guy. So kind and caring. I will miss him popping in and calling out "You alright there girl". I will miss his larger than life personality and the banter. He made a real difference in our community and will be sorely missed. Thank you for being my friend

A happy and upbeat character I shall not forget. I will miss him calling in to work to give us all a bit of cheek.

I can't get my head around the idea that I wont see you bounding around the streets at home full of that massive energy. It's only the great ones that are taken to early, and you are definitely one of them. You were so proud of your girls, and your positivity was just infectious. Always remembered, never forgotten
