Carleen BANAS Obituary
Passed away in the wonderful care of the Acute Stroke Ward at Whanganui Hospital, after a short illness, and a long and happy life. She will continue to be celebrated and loved, but so deeply missed, by her three children, twenty-seven grandchildren, forty-three great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and two more on the way… Friends and family (if you can all fit!) are invited to a celebration of Carleen's life in the Forrest Lawn Chapel, 208 Guyton Street, Whanganui, on Friday 24 October 2025, at 1.30pm, to be followed by interment in the Aramoho Lawn Cemetery. To the Banas family, sorry to hear about your Mum, she trained me way back in the late 60s early 70s. Will always remember her and Stan. They were a lovely couple. What a wonderful life she must of had with all her Grandies. Take care Sheryl & Chris

To the Banas family. Our sincere condolences on the passing of your Mum. We have wonderful memories of days gone by when Carleen and Stan were great friends of my parents Doug and Marj Neilson in New Plymouth. She will finally be back with Stan. What a wonderful long life.
