To all the extended Chamberlain family..Charlie was a wonderful man who always had time for my children when they lived in Matai Place. Your mum and dad were both such loving, caring people...so many memories of the blue mini with trailer attached .. off to the Furlong to tend the gardens. Charlie had the most beautiful roses and I spent many hours admiring them and learning how to take care of them through him. Rest In Peace with Merle Charlie.. if there are roses in heaven I am sure you'll be tending them.

Sad times for you all..Charlie finally takes his place at the family table along with the rest of his generation. CHAMBERLAIN, Charlie:
Passed away peacefully January 12, 2021, in his 97th year. Loved son of the late Len and Marie Chamberlain. Loved brother of the late Mary and Eddie Steiner (Tikorangi). A special Uncle to the late Eddie, Marie, the late Katie, Rosie and Peter Fastier, and Margaret and Richard Joyce, and a much loved great-uncle! Rest in peace Uncle Charlie, with lovely Aunty Merle.
You will be missed, but the Tschumperlin tradition of hard work and determination, a heart of gold and happy-go-lucky nature will live-on.

Loved brother and brother-in- law of Len and Molly Chamberlain (Kapuni), and loved brother of Annie Kaponga and Ernie Kaponga (all deceased). Much loved uncle of Anne & Rod Walker, and Pauline & Lyall Rowe (New Plymouth), and Irene & Derek Cruikshank (Okaiawa).
