Christopher NOLAN Obituary

Passed peacefully at Te Rangimarie Hospice on Tuesday 8th August 2023, aged 66 years. Dearly loved husband of Sandra. Loved father and father-in-law of David and Erin, Michelle, and the late Sarah.Loved brother and brother-in-law of Clare and Jonathan, Mary-Lee, Larry and Joan, Carolyn and Trevor, and Julie. Much loved Tuk Tuk of Clara, Madison, and Toby. Much loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. All messages may be sent to '[email protected]'. In lieu of flowers, donations to Te Rangimarie Hospice or the Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A service for Chris will be held at The Chapel of W. Abraham, 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Monday 14th August 2023 at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation. For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed at wabraham.co.nz/webcasting/main-chapel.

I wish to offer my condolences to all in the family. I worked with Chris when he relieved in Palmerston North in the early 1980s, later when I moved to New Plymouth. My enduring memory is of his professional competence, along with unfailing generosity and humour. He is greatly missed.
