Sincere condolences to Joe Sarah and Tessa on your Loss. What a beautiful sole Claire was. Lots of memories with Claire when she stayed with me in Aussie. She decided to leave which was sad she said I´m sick of these Aussie Blokes think I will go home to NZ and try my luck. I jokingly said you might find a nice Farmer her reply not likely farm works not my scene. Well she rings me I have news for you and it´s funny I met the best man and he´s a FARMER what a laugh we had. She absolutely loved her farm life with Joe and her girls. RIP in peace Beautiful.

The members of the Maata Women's Institute wish to acknowledge the passing of their member, Claire, on 7th October 2025. Claire will be remembered as a lovely lady who was a fabulous cook and a competition judge extraordinaire. She will be very much missed. Members are asked to form a guard of honour at the end of Claire's service at the Mangamingi Hall on 10th October 2025 at 11.00am.
