A really kind neighbor when we lived next door to you on Durham Rd. Gave us plenty of eggs, chooks & ducks. Enjoyed a meal with us now and again. Real gentlemen & our sympathy goes to his sons and partners. R.I.P.

Goodness me, we all know this day is coming but a big shock when it arrives. Clarry and my time go back to when we were kids and when one of us passes, all the memories of our times together seem to come back in vivid colour as if it were yesterday. My memories of times together are not just good, they are Grand! And too numerous to mention here.
My sincere condolences to the family, and I will miss him greatly also.
Love and kindest regards
Roger O`Byrne.

I met Clarry about 15 months ago and became his support worker. Five days a week, twice a day, you became a huge part of my working life. We had so many laughs and could talk about so many things. I loved hearing about your time driving trucks and all the out of the way places you would go. We would plan dinner every morning and as time went by you became more adventurous with food. You would hide all the naughty things, but not very well. I would smile to myself when I found them. I never expected you not to come home and your passing was a shock. I shall miss you very much. Rest peacefully Clarry

Carry and I went to St Joseph's primary and high school together. We used to visit each others houses but Clarry was not into playing and sports and he used to tell me of his dreams to own a fleet of International Trucks. I never saw Clarry untilI was in my late 40s or early 50s when he owned a truck painting business. I was very impressed with the quality of his work
And surprise surprise up came the topic of International trucks. Forward another 20 odd Yeats this time he was living outside of Inglewood on a life style block got talking of old days and shore enough up came the topic of International trucks. When we left got a parting gift of a dozen eggs.
Goodbye Clarry God bless you.
Old Pioneer Road has lost another one.
