Our condolences to the Berry Family. Colin attended many club nights at the Merrilands Country & Variety Club and danced the night away. The little smile that would follow when he was asked, how are you Colin, his reply was always, Naughty but Nice. RIP Colin. Lynn Crawford - MCVC Vise President

To all of the Berry family. Members of the Taranaki Area NZMCA wish to convey their sincere condolences to you on the passing of Colin. Colin was a valued member of our club. We all enjoyed seeing him arrive at rallies in his immaculately presented motorhome and have missed his presence since his health issues have prevented him from joining us.

To Colin`s Family Our sorrow for your losing of Colin. First met Colin through the motorhome group. Met up at many rallies 20years ago with Viola and Colin. Always friendly and helpful. When I was a custodian at Pop stop Colin was always available at working bees to chip at weeds etc.
An interesting guy with plenty of stories to tell.
Rest in Peace Colin. You won`t be forgotten.

Colin , when ever you see me you would talk to me and we had some good chats about your cars and motor bikes and later your camper van . I will always remember those times. We first met when I was 7 - 8 years old through my uncle Colin Parker . RIP Colin .

It was with much sadness that I read of Colin´s passing. Colin was one of our 300 plus waterside workers (cargo-oligist) when I was associated with him. He was a larger than life character, highly thought of by workmates and waterfront employers alike. Although his Bureau number was 14, he was affectionately known as "Number One" which aptly described has standing amongst those he worked with.

RIP Colin, you deserve it after the battle you fought over the last few months with your determination, optimism and stubbornness never fading. Just over a week ago, you made me promise that I would take you for a walk every day as you needed to get your fitness and energy levels up to earn the points you needed for them to allow you to go back to your home where you wanted to be.
Last Monday on what turned out to be our last walk, with that determination we made it to the front door, and we sat on the chairs out in the sun, you said how great it felt to be out in the fresh air and feel the sun on your face and legs. I think you were also thinking the sun might charge your batteries. Colin I'm afraid your batteries were too old and buggered and wouldn't recharge. RIP

Condolences to Colin's family. Colin always knew when the kettle was on at Rimu Street when collecting his soak hole lids from the concrete factory, and always enjoyed a yarn and we his companionship.

My special memory of Colin is when he took Michelle (my best friend since 5yrs old), Morgan and myself to Onaero Beach one weekend when we were young children. Sitting in the back seat of his Chev Impala even with three of us was like sitting on a gigantic lounge suite. We had a wonderful day out that day. Condolences to Lorelei, Michelle and Morgan. Much love from Trish and Dave King.
