Colin FOLEY Obituary

Colin, it was a pleasure to work with you, as said a true man of the land.
You were super proud of your cows and bulls in the bull teams, and rightly so.
Thank you for everything.

Col fol, Thankyou for being a loved uncle and friend. When you had your bilateral elbow surgery it was my great pleasure to nurse you back to health for a few days, although I think you liked being waited on so much I never thought you would leave! Having you watch us marry last year meant the world, even if you hated the loud music. Thanks for always letting us raid your cupboards from kids to adults. We love you, bless you, until we meet again.

RIP Colin. It's hard to believe that our Foley neighbour's are no longer with us.
In case you haven't heard of the slice bread story - when slice bread first came out it was wrapped in a waxy paper and was delivered by the mailman. On his way to school Colin would open the mailbox, unwrapped both ends of the bread, steal the crusts to eat and rewrap the bread. For many years Mrs Foley thought that sliced bread came without crusts!

I had the privilege of meeting with Colin on business matters over many years both at his Auroa and Ohangi homes.He was always a pleasure to discuss matters with.
He will be greatly missed.

Remember the day when Dad (Leo) would bundle us kids into the car and take us out to Barnys out at huinga over the school holidays. Good days catching up with the cousins. RIP Colin. Condolences

Sorry to hear of Colin´s passing. He will be sadly missed. Enjoyed working with him over the years and listening to his stories.

So many fond memories of staying at Huinga during school holidays, playing rugby with Colin as we got older and our catch ups in later years. Good bloke who never had a bad word about anyone and an everlasting smile. RIP Colin. Dan and Chris Foley. Urenui

Always enjoyed Colin's company on my visits to his farms @ Auroa & Ohangi when I was a stock agent my sincere sympathy to his family in the loss of this great man
