Collie was my first rugby coach. I recall he drove the entire team to Toko in his Morris Oxford. We had been promised by Tom McDonald that if we beat them by more than 40pts he would shout us a crate of Coke, we got the Coke!

RIP Collie

Special memories of the hay making times at the Hancock family over many years, then always great catchups with the kids with kids and more recently some of the grand kids - there has always been a connection between our families like I am sure so many other Stratford families had special connections with Collie and Celia. I am currently having my battle in Waikato Hospital , so will not be able to get down for the funeral, but I am thinking of the Hancock family at this sad time for all of Stratford RIP Collie Dennis Jordan, Hamilton
