Condolences to you Nan & family. It bought back a funny memory of Colin from many many years ago. At the Sgts Mess at Linton. Karen M & I were playing Pool, Colin came up and said you've both been on the table long enough. I said what about getting a partner and giving us a game. Colin, said ok finishing with "this shouldn't take long" well Karen & I won. The bet was for a beer, there was no talking nor congratulations just a beer put down on the leaner for us. Colin then walked out of the Mess, there was much laughter from the audience. I got to know Colin, yes gruff but straight up & a good friend to many. He didn't like losing particularly against women. I hope Nan you had a few wins :). RIP Colin, hope you get plenty of wins with your past mates. Val Lamb
