Colin JONES Obituary
Peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Monday 27 June 2022, aged 82. Cherished husband of Trish for 57 years. Respected and much-loved Dad and father-in-law of Greg & Fiona, Alan & Tina, and Vaughan & Helen. Cheeky and proud Grandad of Monica, Jessica and Karen; Katie, Matthew and Olivia; Euan, Hannah and Isaac. Brother and brother-in-law of Berwyn (Bill) (dec) & Adrienne, Malcolm (Sam) (dec), Lucy & Bill Beattie (dec), David & Raema Wells, and Richard Wells. In preference to flowers please consider a donation to Hospice Taranaki. Messages to the Jones Family may be left on Colin's tribute page at eagars.co.nz/colin. A service to celebrate Colin's life will be held at the War Memorial Centre, Miranda St, Stratford, on Monday 4 July 2022 at 11.00am, followed by his burial at Kopuatama Cemetery. For those unable to attend, Colin's funeral will be livestreamed via his tribute page.

My deepest condolences to Trish and family. Had many associations with Colin, was his A B technician for a few years, shared an interest in horse racing and Colin was a strong buyer at my clearing sale. R I P Colin, you will be sorely missed by your loving family and many friends!!!

My sincere condolences to Trish and family. Colin was a great volunteer at our Stratford Hospice shop, doing anything from 100 to 140 hours per month until he became ill. He has been and will me very much missed.
