Deepest sympathy to the Tamati Family. I have many fond memories working with Cyril at Taranaki Newspapers back in the 1960s. Friday night drinks at the Imperial Hotel, fishing trips in his big blue Plymouth sedan, mushrooming on the family farm. His knowledge of the great outdoors was exceptional as was his ability to draw anything. RIP Cyril.

Such sad sad news. Isobel, Lisa, Dawson, Michell - you are in our prayers. Our memories of our years in NZ are flooded with great times with all of you and in the middle of every memory is Cyril. The softball, the multi family dinners, the fishing, the FUN! A great great man. So many talents. His paintings hang proudly on our walls. Rest in Peace Cyril.
